About the homes and Wildernesscapes Properties. 

Wildernesscapes Properties LLC is owned by Johnathan Ampersand Esper, a lifelong Adirondack resident and business owner.  The owner loves the Adirondacks and log home living, having lived his whole life in two family-owned log homes in Long Lake in the Adirondacks. In 2013 he built a log chalet overlooking Whiteface and the Ausable River in Wilmington, meant to be a personal home but which quickly turned into and is now a popular vacation rental fully booked year round.  Our Lake Placid Adirondack log lodge home is now Johnathan's 2nd vacation rental property, taking 3 years to search for the perfect undeveloped plot of land, design and build every design aspect of the home.  The home has been thoughtfully and lovingly designed entirely by the owner to maximize the forested hilltop views and location and incorporates all the best features learned from a lifetime of log home living and also photographing many premier Adirondack properties. Besides developing properties and running the daily operations of 2 highly successful and sought after rental properties, Johnathan is also a regionally well known professional photographer of Adirondack landscapes, and works with local publications and leads photography workshops.  He also leads photography tours internationally to many of the Nordic countries including especially Iceland and Faroe Islands.
