Wildernesscapes at Jay - under development

Wildernesscapes at Jay is currently under planning and development, with phase 1 of the project targeted to open to guests in late 2024. The 60 acre hilltop property will feature up to 7 luxury homes and cabins of a variety of sizes and architectural styles, all with privacy and mountain views toward Whiteface Mt and the High Peaks. The development is being planned to minimize disturbance to the land and blend in seamlessly on carefully chosen sites around the hillsides that showcase the best views and natural privacy that the property offers. When fully built out, there will be two Scandinavian style all-glass mirrored glass cabins by ÖÖD House of Estonia, some of the first of their kind in North America and perfect for couples, one large ~5 bedroom Post and Beam modern style ridgetop home with panoramic views of the mountains and large outdoor space, one modern luxury A-frame cabin, one log lean-to with plumbed bath and furnished bed for glamping, and 3 additional unique and cozy 1-3 bedroom cabins tucked into the hillsides of the property, including some with access to treehouse-style walking bridges and platforms among the tall white pines.  There will be walking trails throughout the property along old stone walls hand built by farmers more than a century ago, but no other common areas for guests, ensuring complete visual privacy for each cabin site.
